From June 22nd to 29th, the third classes from our school went on a trip to England. We spent two exciting days in London and five days in Christchurch, where we stayed at nice host families. In London we watched the musical ”The Lion King”. On a boat tour on the River Thames we saw Big Ben, London Eye, the Tower Bridge and many other famous sights. Afterwards we went to Buckingham Palace and because the flag was on the top we knew that the Queen was at home.
On Saturday we went down to Christchurch by coach and we made a little stop in Winchester. The host families welcomed us very warmly. The next day was family day and everybody did something different. The rest of the week we went to school in the mornings and learnt more about English. In the afternoons we went on trips to Hengistbury Head, to Bournemouth for visiting the Ocenarium and on the last day we went to the well-known Durdle Door. Three times we had the chance to swim even though it was raining!
We had a great time and much fun in England!
